It’s been almost 5 months since I last wrote here. I have traveled at least once a month, too, so I am not sure why I have not written about it.
March: Backpacking in Assateague
April: Spring Break trip to Acadia NP
May: 80th Birthday Celebration, Topsail Island, NC
June: Virginia State Parks & Family visits
This is the first summer in years that I have not worked during the summer. I had contemplated traveling cross country, but decided early on to post pone that to next year. So I thought I would take some smaller trips with George to visit State Parks, which are very dog friendly. So far, I have only taken one trip, but it was 6 days. I’m hoping to travel more, but I have one kid moving a few hours away and one celebrating a birthday. So maybe shorter travels, 2-3 day excursions here and there.
I have also gone to the bay at First Landing State Park many evening to watch the sunset, Washington DC to see the Washington Spirit NWSL team. I have dabbled in gardening, sketched a couple of times, and read a few books!
So, this short post is just to get back on the Blog. Next post will dive into one of the above trips, probably Spring Break to Acadia NP. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you again soon!
